Instead of our typical video podcast, we’ll take a little bit of time to tell you about our May releases. The first, The Slow Fade, by Reggie Joiner, Chuck Bomar, and Abbie Smith, is a discussion of the most overlooked and underdeveloped facet of the modern church. The Slow Fade makes a compelling case for intergenerational relationships as the way to keep college-aged people engaged in faith.
The Essence of Orange DVD takes the symbol of the light of the church (yellow) and combines it with the heart of the family (red), to create one color – Orange! The Orange movement is changing the way churches across the nation approach children’s, student, and family ministry. Let Reggie Joiner cast the vision and excite your staff with the very essence of the Orange philosophy in this three-hour DVD.
As much as parents are tempted to think otherwise, no one has more influence on the life of a child than a parent. But what do they do with all that influence? In Parenting Beyond Your Capacity, authors Reggie Joiner and Carrie Nieuwhof introduce them to a set of values that can help them steer things in the right direction.
And those are our May titles! Leave a comment on this post (or our Facebook/Twitter sites) for a chance to win all of these resources. And, in keeping with the “orange” theme of the month, you’ll also win a gift certificate to Orange Julius!
Speaking of contests, we have winners to announce! The first is the winner of all of the April titles, and that is Carly Kendall. Congratulations, Carly – you’ll be hearing from us soon.
And now (drumroll please) the winner of our “Win a Nook from Cook” contest – Reine! Congratulations, Reine, and thanks to all who entered.
Tune in later this month for our June podcast – we have some very exciting titles coming out!
